The online news in India on Wednesday morning was mourning with the whole nation. Shri Sathya Sai Baba was buried on Wednesday morning. All the spiritual rites according to the Hindu religion were followed amidst the presence of their relatives, devotees and VIP’s. Baba died on Sunday morning due to heart and respiratory problems.
The ceremony started at early morning and lasted for several hours. Nephew of baba R.J. Ratnakar performed the final rites of sprinkling holy water over baba’s body under the guidance of priests. Before that Buddhist, Christian, Jewish and Muslim priests read out respective scriptures before the Hindu ceremony started. Disciples of Dalai Lama from Tibet also attended the funeral.
The Latest news from the world press on Tuesday stated that the UK government has paid their tribute to baba saying it is a great spiritual loss. Senior political leaders were present along with film stars and sports men at the last rites. Only VIP’s and disciples of baba were allowed inside Kulwant hall during the ceremony while thousands of the devotees waited outside and watched the whole process on big screens. The common people were allowed till Tuesday midnight to have their last darshan of baba.
News with views were aired from Monday that the ceremony would have a private burial process. Today after completion of baba’s final rites, a private burial was carried out by relatives and priests. After this two-hour ceremony, people were allowed to view the newly created Samadhi of baba. Baba was buried under full state honour. A guard of honour was given by the police as per state honour procedures.
Online news reported that celebrities and many devotees have tweet their grief on Twitter and posted messages on Facebook. After three days of mourning Baba was finally laid to rest in Puttaparthi.

Ahmed Shehzad from Pakistan led the country to victory that is currently playing in West Indies. The 5-match ODI series is currently on in this country. The latest news from the world is that the protestor’s city of Deraa is under attack
Syrian army has launched an attack on the southern part of Syria called as Deraa. Sources have reported this latest news from the world through an unverified video. Around 3000 soldiers are estimated to have entered the city of Deraa, armed with heavy armour, firing all around the city. Online news reported that the tanks supporting their troops had surrounded Al-Omari mosque in old city. Foreign journalists are prevented from entering the country making it difficult to verify the news.
Around 95 people were reported killed on Friday while 12 more were added to the list on this Sunday. There are also several reports that say electricity and communications are cut off by the government making it virtually impossible for the protestors to act. It looks that the government has waged a savage war on the protestors and is completely determined to annihilate the democratic protests.
It all stated from a group of protestors demanding a democratic government in Syria. After then news with views to set up a democratic government in Syria were on air. Demonstrators want the President Bashar al-Assad to step down and end his autocratic rule. The government seems in no mood to do so. SriLankan government ordered players to come home
The Latest news from the world is that Sri Lanka’s government is calling back their players to the home town. When IPL (Indian Premier League) is going to the interested mode the sports minister of SriLankan ordered their players to come back for their practice for England tour which will start on May5.
This will lead to loss to many teams especially Mumbai Indians where the famous bowler Lasith Malinga has to go home as he has taken many important wickets during the match and also upgrade the position of the Mumbai Indian.
