Toyota India Launches new hatchback – An online news

The latest news from the world of the auto in India is about the recent launch of the new hatchback car from the house of the Toyota Kirloskar motor India. The car named Etios Liva is the hatchback version of the earlier launched sedan Etios by the japaneese car maker Toyota in India.
The car was much awaited launch from the house of the worlds largest car maker Toyota motors and they had showcase the car earlier in the 2010 auto expo in Delhi in India.


The company claimed that the car is much refined and will give a good fuel efficiency of around 18 Kilometer per liter of the fuel consumption, the company also believes that the car comes with the reliability and the quality of the Toyota motors, while presenting the car in India, the managing director of the Toyota Kirloskar motor in India mentioned that the company is very positive about the response for the car given that they had received very good response for the sedan version Toyota Etios launched last year.
The car is launched in a very competitive segment of the small cars in India, there are already very established players in this segment like the Maruti Suzuki India, the Ford, the General motors, the Honda cars, which hall have either launched their cars or are in the process of launching their cars in the very big small car market in India.

Online News – Ordeal for the MV Suez Sailors ends

The online news in India have published the real time update from the Delhi international airport, where 6 India crew members of the hijacked Egyptian ship MV Suez have reached home and are reunited with their families.

The Egyptian ship MV Suez was attacked and all the crew members were taken as hostage by the Somali pirates in the Caribbean, the crew members of the hijacked ship included 6 Indians, 4 Pakistani , 11 Egyptians and One Sri Lankan national, the ship was attacked almost 10 months back and this has been a long 10 month old ordeal for the sailors and their families at home.

The sailors described their ordeal as horrible and one of the sailors was mentioned as saying that they all were tied with ropes and were not given enough water to drink and have to live off with a plate of rice and spaghetti everyday and mentioned that there were no medicines for the hostages.

The online news report also described one of the family member of the captured sailors as saying that they had lost all hopes of reuniting with their family member and recount the horror they had to go through all these 10 months, one of the family member also mentioned that they had met the prime minister of India and were very heart broken when there were no assurance given by the government on their secure release.
It was the Ansar Burney, a Pakistani Human Rights activist, trust had arranged for the ransom money and secure the release of all the sailors, the human rights activist has become like a God the sailors and their families both in Pakistan and India as well.
“We made a promise that we will save humanity, there were 4 Pakistani, 6 Indians, 11 Egyptians and 1 Sri Lankan and if we could have saved only Pakistani national, this would have been very unfair to the other sailors and so we secured the release of all the sailors”, said Ansar Burney.
The Indian foreign minister has expressed their relieve on the return of the captured sailors and expressed the government’s gratitude to Ansar Burney and the Pakistani navy in securing the release of the sailors.

India and Pakistan the two south asian nuclear powers have started the two day long foreign secretary level talks at Islamabad. The foreign secretaries of both the countries voiced a great sense of confidence, optimism and determination. The talks are suppose to be including agenda’s of the peace and security, terrorism and confidence building measures in Kashmir.

Lokpal meet unsuccessful – An online news in India.

The latest news from the world of democracy affairs in India is about the unsuccessful conclusion of the meeting between the government of India body and the members of the civil society representing the lokpal committee.
The was the last scheduled meeting between the two parties, the two parties have earlier met 8 time and discussed their views on the lokpal bill, the lokpal bill is supposed to be tabled in the parliament of India in the upcoming monsoon session, and the two sides were trying to have consensus on the draft version of the lokpal bill that should be tabled in the parliament before it can be enacted as law in India.
The representative of the civil society earlier had protested against the government’s inaction on the lokpal bill, as part of their protest the representative of the civil society had observed fast at the landmark Jantar Manter of Delhi, the government after seeing the kind of support generated by the civil society within the common people of the country had to take note of their demand and they agreed to discuss on the issues raised by the civil society representative.
Today’s meeting was last one in the series of meeting that have happened post the protest by the civil society representatives, there were some disagreement between the government and the civil society representative that had come out in the earlier meetings as well, the prime difference had been the inclusion of the office of the Prime minister, the Prime Minister itself, the higher judiciary of the country and the conduct of the members of the parliament inside the parliament, the government is in opposition to include these under the preview of the lokpal and believe that this will create a parallel government that will be answerable to no one in the country.

Child marriage has been an age told tradition in some part of India, where kids both boys are girls are married off at a very early age, the children married at such a young age usually are not able to understand the responsibilities of the married life and this usually lead to many female deaths during the early pregnancies.

India, the largest democracy in the world had very recently seen assembly elections in 4 of its states, the results threw some new equations in the political circle at the centre. These elections mark the end of the Left regime in the eastern state of West Bengal after a rule of 32 years of left, the red bastion was down after a very long period of the communist rule, while on the other side in the down southern state of Tamil Nadu, the ruling party was overthrown and the opposition sweep through the state to have a full majority government, in another southern state the left continue its rule and the second eastern state of Assam, the congress managed to keep its rule. No Income Tax Return Up to 5 Lac, Online News

According to online news the buzz is that people who have salary up to Rs 5 lakh are not required to fill their IT returns and according to the online news there are as many as 85 lakh salaried tax payers in India. People who are salaried tax payers and whose annual incomes are up to Rs 5 lakh including interests are not required to fill income tax. According to online news in India an official of Central Board of Direct Taxes has also been quoted saying that they will be notifying the same. The persons who are in this category can not include the income from other sources such as house property, capital gains and gains from profession and business. This scheme will be implemented from the next assessment year 2011-12. This means that people who are doing jobs and getting salaries are not required to file their income tax returns in the year 2011-12 for the year 2010-11. Under this scheme people who want to claim their income tax returns will have to file income tax returns.
According to Memorandum to the Finance Bill 2011, Indian government will issue a notification exempting the class of persons from furnishing the income tax returns. And the people who want to file their income tax returns are required to disclose their income and other things like interests and dividend to his employer for deduction of income tax. According to latest news from world such employees will be issued for 16 and this form will be considered as income tax return. This scheme will be implemented from next assessment year 2011-12. But currently under the Income Tax Act, 1961 it is necessary for all the salaried persons to file income tax returns. The benefit of using this scheme is that the persons who don’t have any source of income also file income tax returns and such cases will be decreased. But after the implementation of this act in next assessment year 2011-12 the people who have salary under Rs 5 lakh or up to Rs 5 lakh will be free from income tax.
