Son got killed but Gaddafi survives the air attack by Nato reported by the online news.

The latest news from the world reports that Saif-al-Arab, the youngest son of Gaddafi and three of his grandchildren, who were lesser than 12 years of age got killed in a Nato air strike attack in Tripoli. Nato said that it had hit a known command and control building in the area and not targeting any individuals. Lt-Gen Charles Bouchard also added that all Nato’s targets are military in nature and they avoid hitting any civilian losses.

The Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi himself was present at their villa in the Bab al-Aziziya compound with their children and wife. Rebels from Libya had started a nationwide movement against their leader Gaddafi, asking him to step down from the four-decade-old rule in the government. In reply the government had started attacking the rebellions in a brutal manner, thus killing many innocent civilians reported the online news.

Nato supported the rebellions following a UN mandate against Gaddafi. Nato is not ready to negotiate any peace talks with the leader until he stops the killings of innocent civilians. To have a hold on Gadaffi, Nato have started air attacks from last month specifically only on military centers of Gadaffi avoiding any civilians.

News with views from Libyan government is that they claim Gadaffi and his sons are directly targeted by Nato in spite government’s attempts to talk. They are also of the view that the western governments are behind stealing the wealth and happiness, especially the oil from Libya. Saif-al-Arab was a low profile person who was studying in Germany and was fond of fast cars.

Meanwhile the online news in India said that Russia, China and India are critical about the issues of Libya concerning that the air attacks by Nato endangers the life of common civilians.
