The survey have cleared that Indian are still in myth of no girl child no matter how much efforts have been made to make people understand the value of girl child. The survey says that girl child abortion in India has increased drastically in 21st century showing that literate people of India are not in favor of girl child.
India is the world’s fastest growing economy and is the top on the list of developing nations but the people of India is still having the minds full of “andhvishwas” and all other stuff, still in India people believes that a girl child is always bad for them. This is not the story of India in 70s, 80s or 90s but this is the story of 21st Century India. The survey says that out of 12mn girls child abortion cases, approx 6mn have taken place in last decade only and which shows that there is no effect of literacy and education on Indian people.
Well said.........!! I want to add that abortion in India is legal only up to twenty weeks of pregnancy under specific terms and conditions.
